Minton Moyr Smith Morte D'Arthur Lynette Tile - Sold

A tile manufactured by Minton, Stoke-on-Trent, and designed by John Moyr Smith (1839-1912) in the Aesthetic Movement style.

The tile depicts the character 'Lynette' from Sir Thomas Malory's epic 'Le Morte D'Arthur'. Signed on the front 'Moyr Smith, the tile is impressed to the rear with 'Mintons China Works, Stoke on Trent'. Please also see our other Moyr Smith Tiles.

Encased in a pewter frame, the tile can be used as a trivet, or just for display.
