Victorian FWG F W Grove Large Platter Meat Dish with Rustic Pattern ca 1886 - Sold

This is a Victorian FWG (F W Grove) large platter/meat dish with Rustic Pattern circa 1886.

The pattern is a stylised representation of a wild bird with butterflies, brambles and other foliage in the Japanese, or Aesthetic period style. The platter is marked on the underside with the elephant trademark and 'Rustic' 'Reg No: 69183' 'F.W.G.'
