A Pair of Antique Hand Painted Papier Mache Oriental Vases, Spill Holders - Sold

A pair of beautiful antique hand painted papier mache oriental vases/spill holders.

I would guess the age to be 1850-1900 but they could be earlier.

Date: 1850-1879
Dimensions: Each vase/spill holder has the following approximate dimensions: 68mm (2.75") high x 55mm (2.2") diameter.
Condition: The condition is very good for age, although there is some paint loss, which doesn't impact on the painting, mainly from the base. Please see photographs for detailed condition.
