18th Century Oil Painting of Lady in Blue Silk Dress

A gorgeous late-18th/early-19th Century oil on canvas of an elegant lady in a blue silk dress. I cannot trace a signature but the painting is finely executed. It is framed in a later gilt frame.

The sitter is unknown, but is wearing one glove on the right hand with the left hand glove absent. This is probably to confirm (by the rings) that the sitter is married and from a good family.

Size: 520mm (21") x 630mm (25").

Condition: Some surface craquelure commensurate with age.
